Poland's Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz held a meeting in Toronto on Tuesday with Kurt Volker, a US representative for Ukraine negotiations, and they agreed that the two countries will cooperate on the economic and political reforms in Ukraine.

Czaputowicz, who participated in Tuesday's conference devoted to Ukraine, said that the Polish and US officials discussed how Poland and the US assess the situation in Ukraine.

The minister said that this assessment is very similar and that the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, and Ukraine's authorities should be supported. "We will cooperate with the US in supporting economic and political reforms in Ukraine," he added.

"Poland and the US share an interest in a strong, secure Ukraine integrated in the region and within Trans-Atlantic community. Minister Czaputowicz and I discussed how strengthen efforts to support reform and create an open, dynamic Ukraine," Volker twitted on Tuesday.
