Incumbent President Andrzej Duda won 43.67 pct of the vote in the Sunday presidential election while his main rival Rafal Trzaskowski - 30.34 pct, the State Electoral Commission said on Monday morning, having published results from 99.78 pct of polling stations.

The right-wing incumbent president and his main contender, the centrist Civic Coalition candidate, will meet in the second round of presidential elections on July 12. 

Independent candidate Szymon Holownia was third with a 13.85 percent of the vote.

Krzysztof Bosak (right-wing Confederation) won 6.75 percent, Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz (Polish Coalition) - 2.37 percent and Robert Biedron (Left) - 2.21 percent. 

Voter turnout in the Sunday presidential election reached 64.4 percent. (PAP)
