Poland reports 4,894 new coronavirus cases on Monday, 13 deaths

Poland recorded 4,894 new confirmed coronavirus cases and 13 deaths over the past 24 hours to Monday morning, against 7,145 cases reported on Sunday, data released by the Health Ministry shows.

The healthcare system is now handling 7,204 Covid-19 hospitalisations, up from 6,866 recorded the day prior, including 603 patients on ventilators, against the total of 1,117 ventilators available, the Health Ministry said on Twitter.

The Health Ministry also reported that 267,276 people are under quarantine. So far 2,713,002 people have recovered. 

In all, Poland has already distributed 39,064,978 doses of Covid-19 vaccines, with 19,965,507 people having been fully vaccinated, according to data posted on the official government website, gov.pl. (PAP)
