Polish president-elect says he had "good conversation" with Trump

Polish President-elect Karol Nawrocki has said he spoke with US President Donald Trump on the phone and discussed the "political partnership" between the two countries.

"I had a very good telephone conversation with the President of the United States, Donald Trump. We talked about close alliance relations and political partnership," Nawrocki wrote on the X platform on Tuesday.

He said he had invited Trump to Poland and that he had also received an invitation to a meeting at the White House.

"God bless Poland! God bless America," Nawrocki concluded his post. (PAP)
