Most Poles positive about Nawrocki's first 100 days in office - poll
More than a half of recently surveyed Poles have praised Polish President Karol Nawrocki's work since he was sworn into office one hundred days ago.
In a survey published by the Rzeczpospolita daily on Friday, 55.8 percent of respondents expressed their positive view of Nawrocki, 30.8 percent thought otherwise and 13.4 percent remained neutral.
"Not surprisingly, Nawrocki is positively received by PiS (the opposition Law and Justice party - PAP) voters – 99 percent, and by the (far-right - PAP) Confederation voters – 75 percent," Rzeczpospolita wrote about the PiS-affiliated president.
However, the newspaper noted that 12 percent of those voting for the ruling centrist coalition viewed Nawrocki's tenure favourably.
According to the survey, Nawrocki's approval rating is higher among men (64 percent) than women (43 percent), and among residents of small towns (72 percent) and villages (52 percent) than large cities (44 percent).
Respondents with primary and vocational as well as secondary education (63 percent and 55 percent, respectively) shared a more positive view of Nawrocki's first hundred days in office than university graduates, 47 percent of whom expressed approval.
The survey was conducted by IBRiS between October 7 and 8 on a representative sample of 1,067 adults. (PAP)
