PM praises US ambassador's understanding of Poland
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said after a meeting with US Ambassador Thomas Rose that the ambassador has "great understanding" of Poland's internal and external position.
Tusk posted his comment on X on Thursday in response to an earlier tweet by Rose:
"It was my great honor to meet today with Poland's razor-sharp Prime Minister Donald Tusk — a great Polish patriot and widely respected leader," Rose wrote on Thursday. "Our conversation underscored how vital Poland is to the United States and how much we can achieve together. Under [President] Donald Trump’s America First leadership, the U.S.–Poland alliance continues to grow stronger, guided by leaders like PM Tusk."
Dobre spotkanie. Ambasador Rose jest prawdziwym przyjacielem Polski i świetnie rozumie naszą zewnętrzną i wewnętrzną sytuację. https://t.co/XTrHhAFD7b

"A good meeting," Tusk responded. "Ambassador Rose is a true friend of Poland and has great understanding of our external and internal position."
Rose was sworn in as US ambassador to Poland in mid-October. A right-wing columnist, radio host and was an advisor to former US Vice President Mike Pence, Rose is known for his strongly pro-Israeli views.
Polish President Karol Nawrocki accepted the new ambassador's credentials on November 6. (PAP)
