Adoration without Borders on March 25

The organisers of two prayer initiatives have invited parishes from all over Poland to take part in a 24-hour adoration of the Holy Sacrament to pray for the end of the war in Ukraine.

"Adoration without Borders," which is not an initiative of the Polish Episcopate, will take place on March 25, the Feast of the Annunciation, the organisers said.

On that day, Pope Francis will consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

In their appeal, the organisers of the "Adoration without Borders" asked Catholics to assemble in parishes and pray so that the consecration is accepted by God. They also said that this was very important for peace among nations.

They added that they saw the war going on beyond Poland's eastern border as a message calling for penance and prayer. (PAP)
