CCC footwear firm signs franchise deal with UAE-based company

Polish firm CCC signed a ten-year franchise deal with the United Arab Emirates-based company Apparel FZCO to sell the footwear and other products of CCC in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain, CCC said in a statement.

Under the agreement, Apparel will open at least 60 CCC-brand stores in the six countries to a total of at least 40,000 square metres by 2023, with the first stores seen opening in the first half of 2019.

CCC will also sell its products via Apparel-managed online channels dedicated to Middle Eastern markets, the company said.

"The Middle East market is another step in implementing the strategy of expanding and developing the foreign sales network," the statement read. (PAP)
