Polish top officials extended their best wishes to children on Children's Day on Friday.

In a video published on Twitter, President Andrzej Duda and First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda wished children much happiness, joy and love.

"Today and always, we wish you happiness and love. May all your dreams come true. Enjoy your successes and never give up when something seems more difficult," the presidential couple said.

PM Mateusz Morawiecki also wished children love, happiness and joy. "Let me wish you much joy every day. May your hearts be filled with love and your life be full of happy experiences," the prime minister wrote on Twitter.

Sejm (lower house) and Senate Speakers, Marek Kuchciński and Stanisław Karczewski, and Family and Labour Minister Elżbieta Rafalska also extended their best wishes to children on Twitter.

"It is a goal of a wise state to make its children respected, understood, happy, healthy and safe. I wish all young Poles to feel this way in our beautiful Homeland," Kuchciński wrote. (PAP)
