Poland's Radwanska returns to World Number 2 in WTA Ranking

Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska has returned to World Number 2 in the WTA Ranking after nearly four years.

The ranking is led by Serena Williams (the U.S.) who beat Radwanska in the semi-final of the 2016 WTA Premier tennis tournament in Indian Wells, United States, last weekend.

Angelique Kerber of Germany is third.

Radwanska is the fourth woman tennis player to earn over USD 1 million this year. With USD 1,055,508 Radwanska has been preceded by Kerber (USD 2,721,034), Williams (USD 1,778,685) and Victoria Azarenka (USD 1,506,573).

During her entire career the 27-year-old Pole has earned USD 22.8 million. (PAP)
