Poland arrests individual for documenting military transports

A Polish court imposed a pre-trial detention on a Pole suspected of declaring his readiness to work for foreign intelligence and documenting military transports, Interior Minister Tomasz Siemoniak has reported.

Siemoniak wrote on the X platform that the suspect had been apprehended by the Internal Security Agency (ABW) on Thursday.

"On Saturday, December 20, 2025, the court ordered a preventive measure in the form of temporary detention for a period of three months on a 40-year-old Polish citizen who was charged with declaring his readiness to act on behalf of a foreign intelligence service," he wrote on Sunday.

The investigators recovered materials from the individual documenting railway transports of military equipment. The man has a history of being convicted of minor crimes. (PAP)
