Poland sees emergency landing of US drone Reaper

A US drone made an emergency landing nearby Miroslawiec, north-west Poland, the General Command of Armed Forces (DGRSZ) has reported.

The unmanned MQ9 Reaper aircraft of the US Air Force was forced to touch down in an emergency landing in Polish airspace around 11pm on Monday, the DGRSZ reported. 

The drone performing a quarterly training "lost connection with the base" in Miroslawiec, the report continued.

The landing location was secured, and the incident investigated by the military police.
