Talking to reporters on Thursday, Nawrocki summarised the discussions held in Davos. He said that during the last three days he had met with representatives of many companies that operate and invest in Poland.

"We are leaving with full confidence that Poland's position, as well as all economic and business issues, have been highlighted. We have achieved the goals we set for ourselves before leaving for Davos," he told the press briefing.

Trump holds face-to-face talks with Poland's Nawrocki

Nawrocki said that during his talks he promoted Poland as the country that has some of the world's best new technology and IT specialists.

"So that's what I've been focusing on over the last three days, to show, on the one hand, Poland's interest in groundbreaking technologies, and on the other, that Poland has both the climate and the human capital that foreign investors can leverage," he said.

Nawrocki added that he had also raised the issue of the Three Seas Initiative regional cooperation format, founded by Poland and Croatia, aimed at improving connectivity between 13 EU member states located between the Baltic, Adriatic and Black seas.

He argued that the Three Seas Initiative is strategically important for Poland and for NATO's entire eastern flank.

"I encouraged investors to support the 13 countries of the Three Seas Initiative," he said.

Nawrocki also said that his talks with the presidents and prime ministers of many countries concerned primarily security.(PAP)
