In the study published by Radio Zet on Thursday, the negative responses were predominant. According to 39 percent of those polled, Trump is unlikely to influence Putin, while 28.7 percent said he will "definitely not" be able to pursuade him.

A more positive stance was taken by 21.7 percent of the respondents, who said Trump would be "rather" capable of influencing the Russian leader, along with 0.9 percent of participants who expressed strong belief in his ability to do so.

Additionally, 9.7 percent of those surveyed were undecided.

The study was conducted by IBRIS between September 26 and 27, on a representative sample of 1,073 adult Poles. (PAP)
