On Monday, the two-day 10th Three Seas Initiative Summit, hosted by Duda, started in Warsaw.

"This year's summit is particularly important given the current geopolitical situation and the war taking place beyond Poland’s eastern border," Duda said at the opening of a high-level business event at the Belweder Palace, held as part of the summit.

The event is also being attended by the Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, and the US Secretary of Energy, Chris Wright.

The Three Seas Initiative is a format for regional cooperation founded by Duda and his Croatian counterpart in 2015, at the start of Duda's first presidential term. It aims to enhance connectivity among 13 EU member states situated between the Baltic, Adriatic, and Black Seas. (PAP)
