A screening of Jerzy Skolimowski's 2015 production "11 Minutes" opened the 11th filmPolska Polish film festival in Berlin on Wednesday. On the programme of the 7-day festival are 35 feature films.

Also planned are meetings and debates in 15 localities in Berlin and Brandenburg.
Shown among others will be Agnieszka Smoczynska's "The Lure", Andrzej Zulawski's "Cosmos", Jacek Bromski's "Anatomy of Evil", and Marcin Wrona's "Demon". One of the festival highlights will be a review of Jerzy Skolimowski films starting from his 1962 debut "Knife in the Water".
This year's filmPolska event marks the 25th anniversary of Poland's and Germany's good neighbourhood treaty. (PAP)
