Poland's Winkowska wins kiteboarding freestyle competition in Egypt
Poland's Karolina Winkowska, the 2012, 2014 and 2015 world champion, has won the first women's event of the season at the 2016 IKA Kiteboarding World Freestyle Championships in El Gouna, Egypt.

Despite the existing terror threats, the competition in Egypt has been attended by over 60 sportsmen from 24 countries.
The 25-year-old Pole managed to defeat world vice-champion Bruna Kajiya in the semi-final and easily took the win in the final with 31.64 points.
The next IKA Kiteboarding World Championships will be held in France in April. (PAP)
