Another Polish windsurfer wins gold in Eilat

Poland's Malgorzata Bialecka won gold at the 2016 RS:X World Windsurfing Championships in Eilat, Israel, on Saturday.

Another Polish windsurfer, Piotr Myszka won gold at the championships on Friday.

"Poland has never before won two gold medals at world championships," according to a Polish Yachting Association official.

Myszka won the title of the men's world champion for the second time. For the first time he achieved such a result in 2010. Bialecka won for the first time. Last year she placed second in the European Championships in Sicily.

Zofia Klepacka, Poland's bronze medallist from the London Olympics and 2007 world champion, placed fourth in Eilat. (PAP)
