Almost 1,000 reporters at European Handball Championship
Almost a thousand reporters will cover the European Handball Championship in Poland beginning January 15, 2016. The event, to take place in Krakow, Wroclaw, Gdansk and Katowice, will be aired by 20 TV broadcasters.
Championship organising committee head Marcin Hera said that among the expected guests will be members of the Danish, Spanish, Norwegian and Swedish royal families as their countries' teams are taking part in the event.
In the first phase of the tournament Poland will tackle France, Macedonia and Serbia in Group A. The Poles' games are scheduled in Krakow.
The most titled team in the event will be Sweden with four European championship wins to its credit.(PAP)
