Netherlands beats Poland in women's handball championship

Poland Friday lost to the Netherlands 20:31 in its fifth game in the Women's Handball World Championship in Naestved, Denmark. Despite the defeat the Polish team advanced to the next stage of the tournament.

Earlier the Poles beat Cuba 27:22, lost to Sweden 30:31 and won with China 29:24 and Angola 29:27. (PAP)
