Party leaders' televised debate set for October 20
A debate of leaders from all the nation-wide election committees will be held at TVP public television on October 20, TVP has announced in a press release.
The committees taking part in the debate are: Law and Justice (PiS), Civic Platform (PO), Together Party, KORWiN, United Left, Kukiz'15 and Nowoczesna, TVP added.
The debate begins at 8 p.m. and will be broadcast by public television's TVP1 and TVP Info channels and by private channels TVN24 and Polsat News.
The debate is planned to last 100 minutes and will be divided into three parts: social and economic issues, foreign policy and security, and a vision for Poland and its political system.
In each round the party leaders will have three minutes for their reply and 45 seconds for a summary at the end.
A pre-election debate broadcast on public television is an obligation stemming from the Election Code. (PAP)
