Polish companies among best technology businesses in Central Europe

Nineteen companies from Poland made it onto the latest Deloitte Technology Fast 50 ranking list of the fastest-developing technology businesses in Central Europe.

Top place on this year's main ranking list goes to Czech company Simplity, which is followed by secure mobile payments company SkyCash Poland from Warsaw. There are two more Polish companies among the top 10: Netguru software and application company (5th) and Traffic Trends online marketing company (10th).

Polish businesses dominate the Rising Stars category - there are seven of them in the first 10. In first place is Code Wise, a Polish company established in 2011 which reported sales growth of 4,555 percent in 2011-2014.

To be eligible for consideration, companies have to conduct operations in areas including software, hardware, communications, media and clean technologies.

"The biggest growth at present is seen in companies implementing innovations in software using Big Data analysis and mobile device capabilities", commented Deloitte's Magdalena Burnat-Mikosz.

Deloitte Technology Fast 50 is an annual ranking list of the fastest-developing Central European technology businesses based on their revenue growth rate over the last four years. (PAP)
