The song, which had its premiere a year ago, has been composed by Jakub

Blycharz and refers to the motto of the July-planned meeting of Pope Francis with young people in Krakow.

The theme song has been chosen in a contest. Organisers received 94 proposals. It had its premiere during an Epiphany procession in Krakow a year ago.

According to Magdalena Dobrzyniak of the Organising Committee of WYD 2016, the song has been translated into: English, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Arabic, Slovak, Latvian, Korean, Croatian, Bulgarian and Belarusian. Choirs from Jordan and Lebanon have prepared various versions in Arabic. (PAP)
