The ship will deliver some 130 million cubic metres of natural gas on grounds of a 20-year contract between Poland's oil and gas giant PGNiG and Qatar's Qatargas corporation.

The Polish LNG terminal, planned as an element of Poland's energy security system, is to be ready for commercial use in the second half of 2016. The terminal can receive 5 billion cubic metres of natural gas annually, or one-third of Poland's consumption needs. (PAP)
