The soups will be made from fresh Polish vegetables and have a several-day shelf life. All the factory's products are to be chilled and thus will not require any food preservatives.

The new plant was built in Parzniewo, outside Warsaw, near Biedronka's earlier opened distribution centre. The factory will employ some 40 persons. Production is to start on August 10. (PAP)
