Duda, Szydlo, Kukiz top confidence poll
President Andrzej Duda, PM Beata Szydlo and opposition leader Pawel Kukiz topped a September confidence poll by the CBOS agency. Most distrusted are Defence Minister Antoni Macierewicz and Law and Justice (PiS) leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski.
Fifty-nine percent of the pollees voiced trust and 29 percent mistrust in President Duda (respectively 5 points down and 5 points up on August), 50 percent declared trust and 34 percent mistrust in PM Szydlo (respectively 5 points down and 5 point up).
Forty-seven percent declared trust and 24 percent mistrust in Pawel Kukiz (respectively unchanged and 1 point down).
Forty-three percent trusted and 39 percent mistrusted Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro, 37 percent trusted and 49 percent mistrusted PiS leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski, 30 percent trusted and 24 percent mistrusted Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski, 29 percent trusted and 50 percent mistrusted Defence Minister Antoni Macierewicz.
CBOS ran the poll on September 8-15 on a random sample of 981 adult Poles. (PAP)
