No-one should pressure Zelensky to give up Ukrainian territory - Tusk
Nobody should exert pressure on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to give up some of the Ukrainian territory seized by Russia, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has said.
"None of us should put pressure on Zelensky when it comes to territorial concessions," Tusk wrote on X on Sunday.
"We should all put pressure on Russia to stop its aggression. Appeasement never was a road to a just and lasting peace," Tusk added.
US President Donald Trump said in an interview with television channel Fox Business on Sunday that Russia intends to keep some of the Ukrainian territory it had captured. Kyiv is sceptical about handing over any of its land to Russia. (PAP)
