"We have yet another loan agreement from the US, aiding a swift transformation of the Polish Armed Forces within the FMF programme (Foreign Military Financing - PAP)," Kosiniak-Kamysz wrote.

"USD 4 billion now, and in total the US has offered Poland over USD 11 billion for financing armaments programmes, including the air defence systems Patriot and Apache helicopters," the defence minister added.

"It serves as further evidence of huge trust and a strong Polish-US alliance," he said. (PAP)
