Naval Missile Units are a terrestrial rocket system used by the Navy to defend against enemy vessels at sea.

"Good news for the Navy," Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak wrote on X. "Today companies of the Polish Armaments Group and Norway's Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace concluded a contract for two further Naval Missile Units and the servicing of NSM rockets. The Polish Coastal Missile Squadrons not only defend our coast, they are also an important element of the Nato defence system."

The contract for two Naval Missile Units for the Polish Navy, signed by PIT-RADWAR, a unit of PGZ, results from a deal struck on September 5 between PGZ and Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace for the provision of coastal missile systems (NDRs) with NSMs. Currently the Polish Navy has two NDRs, bought in 2008 and 2014, for both of which PIT-RADWAR worked with Kongsberg D&A.
