The protest, involving around 100 participants, resulted in several serious incidents, including a pane of glass on the ministry's main door being smashed and the entrance being covered with red paint. A man who allegedly broke the glass was detained at the scene.

Demonstrators chanted slogans such as "Palestine will be free," "Enough hypocrisy," and "(Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw - PAP) Sikorski to resignation." They also declared their support for the international Global Sumud Flotilla, currently attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to the blockaded Gaza Strip.

The demonstration followed reports that the Israeli Navy intercepted the aid flotilla overnight on Wednesday. Israeli authorities had previously declared they would not permit the ships to approach the area.

The Global Movement to Gaza Poland confirmed that all ships carrying Polish activists have been detained. Sikorski confirmed that consular services are in contact with the Polish citizens who were aboard. (PAP)
