"We are satisfied with these new proposals and ideas for bringing an end to the Russian aggression in Ukraine," Sikorski said at a press conference in Warsaw on Wednesday following talks with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.

Sybiha arrived in Warsaw after nine hours of bilateral talks between Ukraine and the US delegations in Jeddah, which concluded with Kyiv accepting Washington's proposal for an immediate 30-day ceasefire and the revival of military and intelligence sharing, which had previously been halted by US President Donald Trump.

"I confirm that the supply of armaments through Jasionka (Rzeszow-Jasionka Airport, in southeastern Poland – PAP) has returned to its previous levels," Sikorski also said.

According to Poland's top diplomat, Sybiha consulted him on certain issues ahead of the Saudi peace talks, adding that this occurred after Sikorski himself engaged in a phone call with US Envoy for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg.

"The resumption of weapons supply from Rzeszow is a crucial outcome of yesterday's discussions, as Rzeszow is the largest logistics hub from which we receive ammunition," Sybiha said. (PAP)
