Tusk praises Poland's strongest economic growth in recent years
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has said the pace of Poland's economic growth has gained momentum in recent years, despite intense activity by "political saboteurs."
"Poland's economy is growing at its fastest pace in years!" the prime minister wrote in a post on X on Thursday. "The 3.7 (percent - PAP) GDP growth is also the European top. And this despite the extraordinary activity of political saboteurs, both foreign and domestic."
His post followed data released on Thursday by the country's statistical office GUS, which showed that GDP grew by 3.7 percent year on year in the July–September period, up 0.4 percentage points from the previous quarter.
Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski also commented on the figures, noting on X that the growth rate was the strongest in the past three years. (PAP)
