Our objective is to restore Poles' dignity - ruling party leader

Poland's ruling Law and Justice (PiS) leader Jarosław Kaczyński declared on Saturday that restoring the Poles' dignity was his party's main objective, and added that political opponents did not understand investing in a family.

Kaczyński made the declaration during the party's regional convention in Jasionka near Rzeszow, eastern Poland, on Saturday.

The ruling party leader stressed that the future of Poland and Poles would be decided upon during this year's European and parliamentary elections.

"We believe in Poles, we believe in Poland. Poles will not allow themselves to be deprived of freedom and the right to have a choice," he stressed.

The ruling party leader also said that PiS political opponents "attack our party's social policy" as they either did not want to understand or they did not understand its two main goals. (PAP)
