It precedes All Souls' Day, which commemorates those who passed away.
On both days, Poles remember the deceased and visit cemeteries, sometimes traveling long distances, to light candles and place flowers on the graves of their loved ones.
All Saints' Day is a bank holiday in Poland. (PAP)
