Mandatory electoral silence comes into force from midnight Friday
A ban on electioneering, publication of opinion polls and promotion of individual candidates, including online, comes into force at midnight on Friday and will last until the end of voting in Poland's presidential elections on Sunday, June 28.
The presidential elections will be held on Sunday from 7 a.m. till 9 p.m. If none of the district electoral commissions extends the voting, the silence will end at 9 p.m. on Sunday.
Voting can be extended as a result of exceptional circumstances such as a polling station being inundated, or a building or communication disaster. (PAP)
