Poland's budget deficit reaches EUR 47 bln at end-September

Poland's budget deficit after September 2025 exceeded PLN 201 billion (EUR 47.34 bln) or 69.8 percent of the planned amount for the year, according to an estimate published by the Ministry of Finance.

Budget revenues after the first nine months of this year amounted to PLN 415.6 billion (EUR 97.67 bln) or 65.7 percent of the planned figure, the ministry reported.

Expenditures totalled PLN 617 billion (EUR 145 bln) or 66.9 percent of the plan, the ministry added.

Poland's budget deficit after August 2025 stood at PLN 172 billion (EUR 40.48 bln). (PAP)
