Polish PM to attend Coalition of the Willing summit in Paris
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk will attend a meeting of Ukraine's allies forming the so-called Coalition of the Willing, in Paris on Tuesday.
The Coalition of the Willing is an initiative led by the United Kingdom and France that brings together 35 countries supporting Kyiv in its defensive war against Russia and is involved in the peace process between the two warring nations. Poland is a member of the coalition.
Tusk will take part in the summit convened by French President Emmanuel Macron, which aims to summarise the entire series of consultations. The leaders are expected to declare their concrete contribution to security guarantees for Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed hope that the next such gathering would take place in the US in late January. (PAP)
