Most Poles positive about Nawrocki's first 100 days as president
A majority of Polish citizens have positively assessed President Karol Nawrocki's first one hundred days in office, a poll for the Polityka weekly has revealed.
The survey, published on Wednesday, found that 53 percent of respondents rated the president's performance as "good" or "very good." Conversely, 26 took a negative view, while 21 percent had no opinion on the matter.
The poll also suggested that Nawrocki, backed by the socially conservative Law and Justice (PiS) party, would win re-election if the vote were held today. He would receive 40 percent of the vote, ahead of his former rival, Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski of the ruling coalition, who would garner 30 percent. Nineteen percent of respondents said they would not vote, and 11 percent were undecided.
The survey was conducted by the Opinia24 pollster on a representative sample of 1,001 adult Poles between October 22 and 24.
The 2025 Polish presidential elections revealed a huge rift within Polish society, as 50.89 percent of voters backed the right-wing candidate Nawrocki, while 49.11 percent cast their votes for the centrist candidate Trzaskowski. (PAP)
